Paleo Mongolian Beef-Easy and Delicious!

A make your own takeout version! Tastes like the one from P. F. Changs, but it’s not just any Mongolian Beef dish- it’s Paleo Mongolian Beef, with an outrageous glaze!

Coconut Aminos

To make this paleo, you can’t use soy sauce or teriyaki sauce like many versions call for. Instead, use coconut aminos! My favorite brand is the aminos from The New Primal! I use the original version in this recipe, but they also have a wasabi flavor. Yum! If you want to give theirs a try, use THECLEANHAPPYLIFE at checkout for 15% off!

The cheapest brand of coconut aminos I’ve found is Trader Joe’s. Personally, I find their version far too sweet. If you use theirs, perhaps try using 1/3 cup of coconut sugar instead of the 1/2 cup called for so the sweetness isn’t overdone.

Pairings for Paleo Mongolian Beef

Wondering what to serve with Paleo Mongolian Beef? If you want to keep it paleo, serve this over cauliflower rice! I’ve never tried it, but I hear broccoli rice is delicious. You could also serve this with steamed broccoli, and use the broccoli to soak up the delicious glaze!

If you’re gluten free but not paleo, then white rice is ahhhh-mazing to pair this with! You could also try brown rice or quinoa.

Lifestlye/Allergen Friendly

As almost all of my meals here are, this one is paleo! That means it is grain free, gluten free, dairy free, and even soy free! That’s right-an Asian meal that is soy free! It uses coconut aminos in place of soy or teriyaki sauce. No MSG either! It’s also refined sugar free, using coconut sugar instead of white, cane sugar. Perfect for families with allergy restrictions, or just those who want to eat clean and healthy!
