Cuisine American, Mexican
- 2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small-medium onion chopped
- 5 cloves garlic diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 16 oz. gluten free pasta
- 1 8 oz. can of tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1-½ tsp. garlic powder
- 1-½ tsp. onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- ¼ tsp. chipotle powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 cups shredded taco cheese
Start by heating the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook. If your beef has a high fat content, the oil may be unnecessary!
Add in the broth, pasta, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and the remaining spices. Mix thoroughly.
Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to just below medium to a simmer and put the lid on. Cook for 10-12 minutes stirring occasionally or until the pasta is finished.
Shut the heat and add the cheese. Mix in and serve!
