This gluten-free Mongolian beef is a quick and flavorful dinner that comes together in under 30 minutes! It's made with tender strips of beef seared to perfection and coated in a rich, sticky-sweet sauce that’s naturally gluten-free.
Chop the beef into bite sized pieces. In a medium sized bowl, thoroughly mix beef and flour, and let sit until ready to cook.
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Chop the garlic and grate the ginger.
Add ginger and garlic, and cook for one minute.
Add water, coconut aminos, coconut sugar, and salt. Let simmer for 5 minutes and stir frequently.
Add beef and mix to coat in sauce. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through. Stir frequently.
Mix the slurry together then pour it slowly into the Mongolian beef mixture, stirring rapidly to thicken it. If it's not as thick to your liking, repeat with another slurry mixture.
