    Why You'll Love This Recipe

    • It's restaurant quality! It's perfectly creamy and seasoned just right.
    • It stores and reheats well! You can make it in advance for meal prepping as the leftovers taste just as good as serving it fresh.

    Ingredients Needed

    • Olive Oil
    • Garlic
    • Onion
    • Italian Sausage
    • Gluten Free Pasta
    • Chicken Broth
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Italian Seasoning
    • Sour Cream

How to Make Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta

In a Dutch oven or large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. When it's hot, add the garlic and onion. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened and fragrant.

Add in the Italian sausage and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring (if bite sized pieces) or breaking it up as you go (if ground sausage).

    Cook the sausage

Add in the broth, spices, and pasta. Stir to mix thoroughly.

    Add the pasta to cook

Turn it up two notches above medium. Once it boils, give it a stir, put the lid on, and turn it back to medium, for about 8 minutes. When it's finished, remove from the heat and stir in the sour cream.

    Add the sour cream

    Serve and enjoy!

    Storage and Reheating

For leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days.

Reheat in an oven safe dish on 350F until the desired temperature is reached, or in the microwave.

    Top Tip

Use a dairy free sour cream for a dairy free dish!
