One pot cheeseburger pasta is a delicious and easy to make dish that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with pasta in a single pot. It's a comforting meal with ground beef, cheese, tomatoes, and gluten free pasta, all cooked together for a quick and satisfying dinner!

If you'd like to serve this with a delicious and bright salad to offset the savory cheesy pasta, try this Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad!

    Ingredients Needed

    Ingredients Needed
    • Butter
    • Ground Beef
    • Onion
    • Garlic
    • Beef Broth
    • Pasta
    • Tomato Sauce
    • Tomato Paste
    • Salt
    • Garlic Powder
    • Onion Powder
    • Cheddar Cheese
    • Tomatoes
    • Dill Pickles
    • Ketchup
    • Mustard

Note that the butter is only needed if the beef has a lower fat percentage! If it has a higher fat percentage, it will possibly have enough fat to cook the onion and garlic.

    Substitutions and Variations

    • Instead of the butter you can use olive, avocado, or coconut oil.
    • You can use chicken or vegetable broth in place of the beef broth.
    • Make an Italian-style hamburger helper version of this dish instead with Gluten Free Hamburger Helper.
    • If you'd prefer a taco version of this dish, make this Mexican Taco Pasta.

    How to Make

Start by heating the oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat and cooking the ground beef. Break it up as it cooks.

Halfway through cooking the beef, add in the chopped onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

When the beef is almost finished but not quite, add in the broth, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and seasonings. Mix thoroughly.

    Add ingredients

Add the pasta and bring to a boil, then turn down the heat to just below medium to a simmer and put the lid on. Cook for 10-12 minutes stirring occasionally until the pasta is finished cooking.

When it's finished, turn off the heat and add in the cheese and mustard and mix.

    Add mix-ins

Serve with the diced tomatoes, pickles, and onions for toppings. Drizzle with some more mustard and serve!

    Top Tip

Don't skip the toppings and mix-ins! The pasta dish on it's own is delicious but to really get that cheeseburger flavor make sure you serve it with the extras.

Try different pickles to switch it up, spicy, bread and butter, garlic, dill, etc. If you'd like to be adventurous and try making your own pickles, this is the recipe I like to follow for homemade pickles!
