Any game day or social gathering needs a good crockpot buffalo chicken dip! It's super creamy and cheesy and doesn't require a lot of effort to make!

If you'd prefer a dairy free version, check out this Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip!

    Ingredients Needed

    Ingredients Needed
    • Chicken
    • Cream Cheese
    • Ranch Dressing
    • Cheddar Cheese
    • Buffalo Sauce
    • Garlic Powder
    • Onion Powder
    • Bleu Cheese (optional)
    • Green Onions (optional)

Don't skip the optional toppings! They're optional so in a pinch you can still have a delicious dip, but they do add an extra layer of flavor and texture!

    Swaps and Variations

    • Try pepper jack or colby jack cheese instead of the cheddar.
    • Make it dairy free with a dairy free cream cheese and dairy free shredded cheese!
    • Add in some diced onions.
    • Mix in fresh chopped celery at the end for an added crunch.

    How to Make

Place all the ingredients into the crockpot except the spices.

Combine the ingredients in the slow cooker

Place in a crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2.

Stir roughly every 30 minutes. Halfway through, add in the spices and mix.

When it's finished, top with the bleu cheese or green onions if using, then serve with any of the suggestions below!

    How to Serve

    • Celery Sticks
    • Tortilla Chips
    • Carrot Chips

If you'd like to finish leftovers in a unique way or eat this as part of a full meal, serve this dip over baked sweet potatoes!

    Storage and Reheating

For any leftovers, first let them completely cool down. Then store them in an airtight container and place in the fridge for up to 3-5 days.

To reheat the leftovers, my favorite way is to use the oven. Place the leftovers in an oven safe dish, then reheat them in an oven heated to 350F until your desired temperature is reached!

    Top Tip

This is a great recipe to use up leftover chicken! However, you can cook your chicken in the slow cooker, drain then shred it right in the slow cooker, then follow the steps in the recipe! This makes for a super easy, one pot chicken dip.
