This creamy, refreshing tzatziki sauce is a game-changer for any meal! Made completely from clean and fresh ingredients (and with high protein!), it's perfect as a dip, dressing, or topping for grilled meats and veggies. With bright herbs, cucumber, and a tangy twist, this quick and easy sauce brings Mediterranean flavor to your table.

    Tzatziki Sauce

Serve this sauce over these Mediterranean Shrimp Bowls! You'll have a perfectly clean meal that hits macros too!

    Ingredients Needed

    • Greek Yogurt
    • Cucumber
    • Lemon Juice
    • Garlic
    • Mint
    • Dill
    • Salt

See quantities in the recipe card below!

    Swaps and Variations

    • Note that for more authenticity, add a drizzle of olive oil in at the end. I personally typically skip this, to avoid extra fat, but the option is there.
    • Up to you if you'd like to use a low or full fat yogurt! Lately I've been preferring low fat as it also has a high protein content.

How to Make Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

Place all of the ingredients into a jar and blend with an immersion blender.

Alternatively, place the ingredients into a regular blender, stopping it to scrape down the sides as needed.

    Uses for Tzatziki Sauce

    • Dip some warm Gluten Free Pita Bread in it.
    • Serve it over these nutritional Mediterranean Shrimp Bowls!
    • Get your veggies in by dipping carrots, celery, grape tomatoes, or broccoli in it!

    Storage

Store this in an air tight container or wrap the top of the mason jar you blended it in with saran wrap or the like.

Store it in the fridge for up to 5 days.
