Mango Salad Dressing is a sweet and tangy dressing that adds a burst of flavor to anything it's paired with. Perfect for salads, tacos, and more!
This dressing pairs perfectly with so many Mexican dishes! Pair it with tacos seasoned with this Whole30 Taco Seasoning or with these Gluten Free Chicken Fajitas!
Ingredients
- Mango
- Avocado Oil
- Salt
- Onion
- Cilantro
- Cumin (optional)
How to Make Mango Salad Dressing
Place the mango in a blender and blend it until it's smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides.
Add the remaining ingredients. Blend until the ingredients are fully incorporated. Add more oil if you prefer a thinner consistency, otherwise it's good to go!
Uses for Mango Dressing
There's so many delicious ways to use this salad! Here are a few:
- Use it to top off tacos
- Drizzle over Mexican rice
- Mix with cubed chicken for a chicken salad
- Top off fajitas with it
- Use as a dressing for a greens salad
- Use as a dressing for a taco salad
- Spread it on hamburgers
Top Tip
If you want your dressing to have a bright and vibrant yellow color, do not add the cilantro alone with the onion and spices.
Instead, rough chop then blend the cilantro LAST. Stop blending once the cilantro is incorporated, leaving beautiful specks of green in the bright yellow dressing!
Storage
Once you make this, it will last about a week in the fridge. Store it in an air tight container or seal it before refrigerating.
Note that when it's stored in the fridge, the oil will firm it up. Simply leave it out a bit before serving next time so that the correct consistency can return!
Alternatively, you can just mix in a bit more oil to be able to serve it faster.
This Mango sauce is made of mangos, oil, and spices and herbs.
Typically ingredients for a mango salad will include greens, mangos, onions, and nuts.
According to Statista Research Department, Ranch is the most popular salad dressing in the United States!

Mango is without a doubt my favourite fruit, I would eat it with just about it with just about anything, and now I definitely will! Tonight I’m substituting it in for my boring old cajun seasoned chicken! Thanks for the recipe!

This looks super tasty! I have all the ingredients on hand except for the mango (I’ve been looking for more recipes where I can use my avocado oil…it was so expensive, I want to use it more, lol). I will definitely be giving this a try. May make some sort of tropical flavored pasta salad.

Ooooh yes tropical flavored pasta salad sounds so yummy!! I hear ya, I like to use the oil in sauces as the flavor isn't overpowering!
